So last night, I ended up staying home because the plans kind of fell through. I had been laying in my bed after my scalding hot shower and when I tried to stand up, I had shooting pains up and across my back.
I promptly laid back down.
About an hour later, I decided I’d change into my pajamas because I obviously wasn’t up for moving more than I had to, so I stood up and again had shooting pains. It then performed a balancing act and looked not unlike a flamingo as I stuck one leg out in the air to bend over and pick up my sweat pants, which ended up being a thousand times easier than actually putting them on, which involved leaning against the wall and trying really hard not to bend. I took Tylenol, thinking that if it were a muscle pain it might go away.
It didn’t. So I laid perfectly flat and tried to sleep.
It feels a little better now, the pain in my upper back is gone but the same spot on my lower back is still hurting, and now I’m paranoid and afriad my colon exploded or something. I am now going to attempt to walk down the stairs and go to the bathroom, but I’m afraid its going to hurt too much to walk, which is unfortunate because I’m leaving the house around three and not coming home for most of the evening, and I have to carry a laundry basket full of dirty laundry down two flights of stairs.
This sucks.

Geez Jen, you need to get yourself checked out. Is it possibly a kidney infection or stones? Pain like that isn’t something to mess with!!!

A few months ago I had hurt my lower back. Odd thing was, while at physical therapy, they discovered my legs were about as tight as they can be.
I got flexible, the pain went away and it hasn’t come back, well my in my lower back, anyway.
