… I’m actually making an appearance.
Not that I feel the need to defend myself, but I have been a bad little blogger. Much has been happening lately, and, when I lost my steady internet connection, I also lost the desire to blog. Hell, I don’t even have an away message up on AIM anymore telling people where I am at every second of every day.
News, news… Fro is engaged. He will be marrying his wonderful fiance next June and she has asked me to be in the wedding. My response was to cry like a little girl. The wedding is supposed to be just like the movie “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” because her family is all from Greece. It’s pretty laid back, we all get to pick our own dresses as long as they’re the same color and I already have my date lined up because me and Jack’s are still as close as ever and me and JT are even better since he defended my honor.
I love fake older brothers.
I also have managed to secure myself an awesome personal loan to pay off a credit card with 34% interest and my car, taking my monthly bills down by $300. My loan is awesome, got an 8% interest rate because Batman is amazing and we’re finally friends in real life. I am buying my brother’s condo next summer when he moves in with his fiance, and I need to get my financial shit together. Cutting my interest rate by 2/3 seemed like a good way to start.
Work is awesome. I love it. I’m off orientation and things are going pretty good so far.
That’s about it. I figured out how to blog at work, so I may be writing more now… night shifts are the same as they’ve always been, and my kiddos are sound asleep.
Probably more to come… I’m sorry I’ve been so out of the internet loop.
